Many of these flavours are created just for that specific area to be sold, making them exclusive and are made to replicate foods specific to that region. Many flavours mirror famous food and drinks from those places to bring a new and harmonious tasty experience to the local area.
Since the aim is at local flavours, they work especially well as souvenirs for travellers. Something familiar but different, and packaged easily to share with friends and family.
